BioSerae Laboratories unveils the latest human clinical results on ID-alG™

September 1, 2010

ID-alG™ is made from premium brown algae sourced in the pristine waters off the coast of Brittany and provides a natural source of vital nutrients.  By way of inhibiting the enzymatic digestion of fats and starches, ID-alG™ is intended to support weight management.

A monocentric, randomized, placebo controlled, parallel double-blind clinical study was conducted on 60 overweight women between the ages of 20 and 60.  A daily dose of 400mg of ID-alG™ was given each day for over 2 months.  The clinical study confirms the exceptional weight management properties of ID-alG™ with significant results observed on women with a BMI (Body Mass Index) ? 30.

Additionally, at the conclusion of the study, each volunteer filled in a satisfaction questionnaire.  The results were exciting; 76 percent of consumers were convinced by the weight management properties of ID-alG™ and more than 70 percent of women included in the ID-alG™ group acknowledged they would like to buy the product and continue to use it.
